Our situation is about to get harder to deal with. We really need your help.

Since June 1, my wife Janet and I have been reaching out for your help during an increasingly difficult time. Many of you know me as the host of Pure Pop Radio, a show I broadcast for 25 years, and as a reviewer for the Pure Pop website. For those who are less familiar, you can learn more about me at http://purepopradio.com. We’ve always tried to bring joy and music to our community, but now we find ourselves in need of much help.

As was the case on June 1, a combination of ongoing health issues, mostly for me, and little incoming money have put us in a serious situation. Janet has been searching for a job for just over a year after being let go from her last position after 14 years due to budget cuts. She continues to search for a new job all day, every day. We don't have a car and rely on Ubers for transportation, which adds to our expenses. With my health challenges, including psoriatic arthritis and neuropathy, and mounting medical expenses, we are struggling to pay our bills and living costs.

The funds raised through this campaign have been helping us to cover our rent through September and October, but paying for all-important insurance costs and basic living, medical and transportation expenses is now becoming extremely difficult.

We are continuing to ask for any monies you can contribute to our cause. Your support with donations will help us maneuver through our financial strain and pay for doctors and insurance and other costs. We are deeply grateful for any help you can provide, and your kindness will continue to make a real difference in our lives.
