Alan is a kind-hearted, humble, hard-working, drug and alcohol-free soul. Due to financial difficulties caused by the pandemic, he is living in his van together with his three cats.

Together, Alan and his cats have been through many challenging life struggles. He says his kitties are his heartbeat and that they have sustained him through these difficult times. He has designated the entire back part of the van for his cats, with litter boxes, scratching posts, beds, and toys. Alan himself sleeps sitting up in the front seat.

Unfortunately, Alan’s van is not drivable, and he’s urgently in need of a van for transportation to and from the restaurant where he has worked for the past two years after being laid off from the oil rigs. As someone who cares a great deal about Alan and his cats, I’m hoping to raise $10,000 so that we can help him buy a functioning van.
