Help Alam and her family pay rent!

My name Alam, and I live in Brooklyn with my brother and elderly mother. We love each other and our community. We are an Bangladeshi family. We have all been exposed to COVID-19 and so god that we have all recovered. Due to the pandemic, our family is facing unprecedented challenges. I lost my job as an Receptionist/EA, and my brother, who is self-employed has lost all of his gigs  and has been trying his best to build his network for his business. As our mother is not able to work, and my father is in Bangladesh due to COVID-19, it has been hard for him to come visit. We have been trying our best since March to meet our needs with all the savings we had. It is now up to us to come up with rent and utilities each month and ask for your help. 


We are asking for the support of our amazing community to help us raise $7,500 to cover our rent and utilities so we can remain safe in our home, and with each other, as we navigate these difficult times. We are hoping to reach this goal soon.
