Hi, I’m Alaina and I’m looking for help to get a down payment for a new used car.

This morning, 2/18/26 at 5:30 am, as I was going to work and getting on the highway, my light turned into a green arrow and I started to turn. A W.W. Gay pickup truck hit me and totaled my car. The company is lying and saying that they had a green light, and the police are believing their side of the story and put me at fault. I unfortunately don’t have a driver cam, so there’s no way for me to prove that I’m right.

I just got this car less than a month ago and I haven’t even made my first payment yet. I’m a very safe driver and I would never under any circumstances put myself in danger, especially with having a brand new car.

I’m looking for help as I don’t have the money to put anything down for another down payment and I desperately need to make sure I have a way to get to work every day, which is a 40-50 minute drive. Anything helps, even just $1. I’m grateful for every single person that helps me during this extremely anxiety-inducing situation.
