My friend Alagie lives in Gambia and has been the sole breadwinner for his younger siblings for a few years. The family's main source of income is from Alagie's job as a taxi driver, a job that he needs for the survival of himself and his younger siblings.

Yesterday Alagie's younger sister was hospitalized with seizures, and she is still in an unstable condition. Alagie's income from his job is not sufficient to pay for the medical bills which are about 5000 GMD per day. On top of that he also needs to pay for food and other daily necessities which further compound his expenses.

Alagie has had to pawn his cellphone to afford the medical costs, but was only able to get 7000 GMD for it. I am doing this fundraiser to help get him as much as possible to help him pay for the bills and to help his family recover after his sister gets better.
