I am SandraLaya Ruch from Toronto, Canada and a long time friend of the Ahmed family. We met in 2004 in Jericho. Now they need help with their education. The money I raise goes directly to the university for tuition via a bank transfer. We are raising money for the university tuition of Alaa, Fadwa, Razan and Hala Ahmed. Their family feel like my family.
Alaa, Fadwa and Razan are in the last year of their studies. Now Hala is starting university this September, 2026 in English Literature.
Their father, Ahmed, writes:
A Humble Request for Educational Support
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am writing with sincere hope and humility to seek your kind support for my four daughters, who are determined to continue their university education despite the significant financial challenges our family is currently facing.
Two of my daughters are studying Medicine, while the other two are pursuing degrees in English Literature and Law. They have worked diligently to achieve their academic goals and remain deeply committed to serving their community through their future professions.
Unfortunately, the economic conditions in our region continue to deteriorate. Rising living costs, financial instability, and ongoing hardship have made it increasingly difficult for our family to meet essential educational expenses, including tuition fees, accommodation, transportation, books, and other academic needs.
Any support you may be able to provide, regardless of the amount, would make a meaningful difference. It would enable these young girls to continue their studies and preserve the future they have worked so hard to build.
Education is not only an investment in their individual futures, but also in hope, resilience, and a better tomorrow for all.
We are deeply grateful for your kindness, compassion, and generosity. Thank you for standing with us during this challenging time.
With sincere appreciation,
A Grateful Father
Life in Palestine is very difficult. Alaa, Fadwa and Razan have never known anything but occupation. They have never experienced freedom of movement. The Israeli occupation crushes the hopes and dreams of youth but we have an opportunity now to make their dreams come true. I have known this family since 2005 and they are good people. They deserves the same opportunities we give to our children. Won't you join me in helping them?
