Hello!

My name is Maria and I am raising funds on behalf of my friend Alaa in Gaza, who is trying to re-build her life and provide for her family.

Alaa and I first met on Instagram in December of 2024, and for the last few months, Alaa and I have talked every other day: checking in to see if she's ok, talking about her day-to-day, or sending me pictures of her surroundings. The stories she tells me of everything she is living through are horrible.

Recently, Alaa has separated from her husband and is trying to rebuild her life while also having to stay safe through the genocide. "I have no source of income. The war has stopped everything I can do." She is now living in a tent with her mother and other close family relatives.

No one deserves to live through what Palestinians have to live with every day. No aid has come into Gaza for over 2 months, and with food/water shortages everything has become very expensive. Alaa has nothing, and she is in desperate need of your help.
