Hello!

My name is Maria, and I am raising funds on behalf of my dear friend Alaa, who is currently in Gaza and trying to rebuild her life while supporting her family under extremely difficult conditions.

Alaa and I first met on Instagram in December of 2024, and since then we have been in regular contact. and since then we have been in regular contact. We speak almost every other day — checking on her safety, talking about her daily struggles, and sharing moments from her life through photos and messages. The reality she lives in is heartbreaking.

Recently, Alaa has separated from her husband and is now trying to start over while still living under the constant threat of war. She has no source of income as there are no opportunities for work. Currently, she is living in a tent with her mother and other close family members, struggling to meet even the most basic needs.

No one deserves to live the way Palestinians are forced to live every day. For months, little to no aid has entered Gaza, and with severe shortages of food and clean water, prices have become unbearably high. Alaa and her family have almost nothing left and they need urgent support
