The fundraiser is for Alaa and her family who are currently displaced in Gaza.

Alaa direct messaged me on Instagram asking for assistance to help her and her family. All of the funds will be sent to her directly. This is her story in her words:

Hello, I am Alaa, I am 17 years old, from Gaza, and I live in Khan Yunis specifically. We have been at war in Gaza since October 7th, and we live in very difficult conditions here, and also in the tent, which is very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter.

I have 3 brothers, Muhammad, who is 16, Louay, who is 14, and Amir, who is 9. My mother works as a housewife and my father is unemployed because he has a bad back.

We have been displaced 7 times since October 7, and each time we have survived with difficulty .

During this war, our beautiful house was destroyed, and I had a new room that I did not live in for nearly a month, and it was also destroyed.

Before the war, I finished the tenth grade with a grade point average of 97.3, and I was entering the eleventh grade and was very excited about it.

But the war destroyed our dreams and ambitions.

So I created the Gofundme link to help my family, rebuild my home, and complete my dream that I have always had
