Help Al Briand on His Road to Recovery

Al Briand is not only an incredible musician but also one of the most beloved members of our community—a devoted father, a kind soul, and a passionate artist who has touched countless lives through his music. Whether he’s entertaining audiences, spending cherished moments with his family, or sharing a laugh with friends, Al brings joy to everyone he meets.

Recently, Al underwent emergency surgery for a brain aneurysm. While we are incredibly grateful that he made it through the surgery, his journey to recovery is far from over. Al faces a long road ahead, including intensive rehabilitation, which comes with significant expenses.

The rehabilitation center is located in Toronto, eight hours away from Al’s home in Timmins. Al’s wife, Jen, will be staying by his side to support him, which means she too will be unable to work. In addition to these challenges, Al will need time to heal before he can return to his passion—creating music—and his most cherished role as a father.

As anyone who knows Al can attest, he’s a fighter. But this is not a fight he should have to face alone.
