Hi, I am Sada Bharatha, fundraising for my cousin's daughter Akshara, who is a 15-year young girl. She is suffering from Episodic Ataxia. A very rare brain disorder. This disease affects the cerebellum which is vital to the coordination of physical movement and the spinal cord. Its inherited conditions worsen over time and cause problems with coordination affecting eyes, hands, speech, legs and mobility. She started seeing worsening conditions as she lost her hearing. Her father Venkat Mamidala works for Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad as a Radiation Technologist. He already spent all his life savings and ran into a critical financial situation. The family reached out to NeuroGen Brian and Spine Institute, Mumbai as a final hope and they plan to do Cell Therapy for Akshara. It involves huge medical expenses.
