My name is Akram.
I am a father, and I am writing to you with a heart that is heavy but still holding onto hope.
I am from a family of three children. Right now, my children and I are living through days no family should ever have to endure. We are facing bitter cold with little protection, and every night I worry whether my children will be warm enough to sleep, whether they will have enough food to quiet their hunger, and whether clean water will be available tomorrow.
My children are innocent. They do not understand why the cold bites so hard or why food has become so scarce. They only know fear, hunger, and exhaustion. As a parent, it breaks me that I cannot give them the safety and comfort they deserve on my own.
Your donation is not just money—it is warmth, food, and life. It means blankets to shield my children from the cold, meals to give them strength, and clean drinking water to keep them healthy. Most of all, it means hope in a time when hope feels very far away.
Please, if you are able, help my family survive this crisis. Your kindness can save my children and remind them that the world has not forgotten them.
Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for standing with us.
With gratitude,
Akram
