Akram Abbas is a 17 year old senior attending Plano West High school, in Plano, Texas. His dream ever since he was 10 was to play soccer/futbol at the highest level possible, and playing college soccer will be his pathway to having the opportunity to play professional soccer. Right now he has been accepted to the prestigious ETURE Gap program in Valencia, Spain. Only 38 kids are accepted every year, to experience this once in a lifetime journey in which they prepare by eat, sleep, and breathing soccer. The Gap year program is known for the amount of kids that commit to play Division 1 soccer on high level scholarships the following year. The cost of the program is $40,000.
