At the beginning of the year, on January 19th, Akiro underwent a sigmoid resection to remove a section of his colon and eliminate the cancer. Initially, the surgery seemed successful, and we were relieved to hear that his lymph nodes were negative, meaning chemotherapy wasn’t necessary.
However, a few months later, Akiro began experiencing complications, including trouble breathing and abdominal pains. His most recent hospital visit revealed devastating news: the cancer has spread, making surgery impossible and giving him a life expectancy of 12-24 months.
Despite this prognosis, Akiro is determined to fight for every day he can, cherishing the time he has with his friends and beloved son. The journey ahead will be incredibly challenging, and we are seeking support to help cover his medical expenses and future needs for his son.
Your generosity and kindness can make a significant difference in Akiro's battle and help provide some peace of mind during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for being part of Akiro's fight and supporting his family.
