Hi, this is Izzy. I would like to share the story of my close friend, Akira Abrams. Akira and her family (her mom and her older sister) need your help. They recently received a 14-day eviction notice because they fell behind on their rent payment this month. It's been a tough journey for Akira ever since her beloved dad passed away several years ago. Her mom supports the family working in special education, as well as running a small business creating her own crafts, and is pursuing a graduate degree in teaching. It's been years of struggling to make ends meet being a single parent raising two children in New York City. Every dollar raised will go toward this month's rent payment.

I met Akira on the first day of middle school. She has shown nothing but warmth, kindness and understanding to me. She and her family deserve peace and to feel safety and stability.

This holiday season, let's come together to support this wonderful family.
