Help A Local Teen Publish Her First Novel
$30 raised of
Akira Bruner, a 14-year-old author with an incredible dream. When she was just 13, she wrote her first novel, True Love Never Dies Even After Death. What began as a way to express herself and pour her imagination onto paper became something much deeper. Akira created a story about Alice and Zeke that explores love, loss, family, grief, healing, and finding the courage to keep living when life does not go the way you imagined. She poured her whole heart into this book, and that hard work has now led to an exciting opportunity: Dorrance Publishing has offered to publish her novel and make it available to readers.
For Akira, this is not about fame or fortune. She simply wants the chance to hold the book she wrote in her hands and see her dream become real. As her mother, Savannah wants to help make that possible, but the publishing process comes with cost she can not take on alone. Donations will go toward Akira’s publishing expenses and help bring her very first book to life. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much. For anyone who would like a sneak peek of Akira’s book, you can visit www.thestarsleadbacktoyou.com. Thank you for believing in a young author and helping celebrate Akira’s dream.
