Hello, my name is Akira Bowman. I am 18 years old, and I am currently in the process of finishing high school. But sadly, I have had to put everything on hold because of my situation at home, where I suffered psychological and verbal abuse. But it got out of hand when I looked for help, and it reached its peak. All my technology was taken away to make sure I couldn't contact anybody for help, as well as my passport so I could not leave.

All of my studies are online, and without access to technology, my schoolwork is taking a serious hit. I am 7 months away from finishing high school and getting my Diploma, GED, and 3 years of University done and finished.

As things escalated, this person tried to take me against my will using force. After this didn't work, this person left with my passport, shut down my bank account, and took all of my technology, leaving me here in Tanzania with no identification or money to survive or continue my studies.

So with that having been said, I currently need to raise $3,000 to pay for a new passport, continue my studies, and get out of the country to legally work & be able to start a new life.

This money is not to solve all my issues, but to push me to do it myself.
