At the beginning of February I was staying with a friend trying to get my finances in order after I lost my Box Truck business. I had been studying for my real estate license and Grubbing in the evenings.
I was staying with a friend and I was napping before I went out to Grubhub after studying for my Real Estate License. When someone bust into my room demanding to speak with me. I had no idea how this person had gotten into the house or knew where I was napping.
- I had no idea who this person was or how he got into the house. I confronted this person asking who he was and how he go in the house. I told him I was calling the police and that's when I was shot in the chest!
He ran out of the house and I called 911. Thank God the Detroit Police arrived and saved my life. I was rushed to Sinai Grace placed into intensive care where the bullet was removed from my chest.
I have been in the Hospital for 2 months where I had to undergo several surgeries from the gunshot wound. My ribs were also broken from the gunshot wound. I am recovering and have been discharged from the Hospital, but I have lost everything due to this incident.
I no longer have anyplace to live, I lost my ability to earn an income. This event has caused me to be homeless, unemployed and I lost my car. The police did catch the guy who shot me. Now I desperately need help getting my life back together and things back on track.
