My brother, Akeen Austin-Goodridge, was severely injured by a senseless and brutal act of gun violence in January 2021.  This crime has changed his life drastically.  Akeen is a Marine who served for 4 years, worked, and lived a normal life.  Sadly, because of this tragic incident Akeen's young and vibrant life has taken an unexpected turn, and now needs the support of others to assist him in his recovery.  We are asking for financial help through the kindness of others to help defy the devastating prognosis of doctors.  We believe that Akeen will receive complete healing and restoration with prayer, faith, perseverance, and the support of others. He's currently in a rehab center where therapists, doctors and nurses are dedicated to assist with this difficult journey which lies ahead.  These donations will go towards his medical costs and necessities.  This situation has been such an eye opener for everyone involved, anything can happen at anytime and change your life in a blink of an eye.  Please know that your donations are appreciated in every way.  We thank you for your prayers and donations.
