Hello! I’m Akeem Oh!

I’m an indie-pop artist, songwriter, and producer based in Toronto CA. I write, produce, and record most of my music myself. My work has always been rooted in connection: honest lyrics, emotional moments, and music that makes you feel something real.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Northern Ontario, my journey has always been about finding identity through music — and creating something meaningful out of that experience.

Right now, I’m in the final stages of finishing my upcoming EP — a project that represents a new chapter for me creatively and personally. It’s the most intentional, vulnerable, and fully realized body of work I’ve ever made.

But I can’t finish it alone.

With ongoing funding cuts to the arts in Canada, and streaming platforms making it harder than ever for independent artists to sustain their work, completing this project has become a real challenge. The final steps — mixing, mastering, visuals, and release — all require resources that are increasingly difficult to access as an independent artist.

That’s why I’m reaching out to my community — my friends, family, and supporters — to help bring this project across the finish line.
