Help Akea Produce Her First Feature Film

My name is Akea Huffman, and I am originally from the two cities of Tuskegee and Union Springs, Alabama. My love for the arts began early, participating in projects at The Red Door Theatre in Union Springs. In 2021, I decided to follow my dreams and move to Hollywood, where I have been fortunate to work on court TV shows, various television series, feature films, and music videos. I have also worked behind the scenes, doing hair and makeup for award shows like the BET Awards.

Now, I am taking a leap of faith and producing my very first feature film. The idea for this film was born in a coffee shop in Inglewood, California, and it draws inspiration from real-life situations and the message that you should always watch your back. Not having much background in scriptwriting, I invested in myself to learn the craft, and since then, I have written five more scripts that I hope to bring to life in the future.

As you may know, creating a movie is a significant financial undertaking. I have already paid for copyrights and am set to begin filming, but I need extra assistance to cover the costs of gear, employee payouts, sets, props, and more. If you feel it in your heart to donate, please do so. Nothing is too small, and I appreciate every bit of support as I work to make my dream a reality.
