Hi, my name is Akayla Cruse, and I am a sixteen-year-old high school student. I play volleyball and was given an amazing opportunity to play at a higher level, and I need a little support getting there.

Outside of school volleyball, I play Club/AAU volleyball to stay fresh. This year, I was offered a spot on a national-level team which is a step below playing for a college team. I will be playing with amazing exposure and collegiate opportunities that I would love to pursue. Due to the price of memberships, travel costs, and club fees, it's become extremely difficult. I come from a solo-parent household with just my mom working overtime to support my dreams of playing, as well as always making sure I have access to the best opportunities given to me.
