Help Akasha Heal from Traumatic Brain Injury

Hi friends,

I'm organizing this Gofundme for my sister Akasha who was air lifted into Albany Medical on March 19th. A cat scan confirmed a brain bleed on both sides, a development in result of a concussion she sustained from falling a week prior. The doctors have since discovered a skull fracture with fistula bleeding. She has had a successful angioplasty to cauterize the bleed where a blood aneurysm was located and removed.

Kash is a dedicated student at SUNY New Paltz with a passion for learning and exploring. Her enthusiasm and zest for life is contagious. If you know Kash you know she's a crafter, a baker, a reader, and a holiday enthusiast, (It was her idea to put up two Christmas trees every year) among everything else that makes her the kind, funny, and thoughtful soul that she is. We are praying for a recovery without complications and are blessed to have her in the care of the Albany Med Neuroscience Doctors.
