Help Akaali Manjit Kaur Khalsa Beat Cancer

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh!

I, like many of you have had the pleasure of knowing, either through FB or in real life, Sister Akaali Manjit Kaur Khalsa. We have watched her inspiring journey in Pnjab during the pandemic as she lived with her husband and family doing seva and anxiously waiting to get back to Germany as she needed to take care of many things there. Very unfortunately, she was unable to get back in time to save her job and her home. On top of all of that, upon her return to Germany she was diagnosed with an aggressive and advanced form or cancer.

Now, she is recovering from two surgeries, and will start chemo soon. Her health insurance will not cover the whole treatment, and still she has no job and is facing homelessness. Yet, she is keeping up hope and only asks for a food processor and vitamins. She will never be able to eat solid food again, and to keep her strong through chemo, she needs more than the sugar/chemical formula that she can get from her doctor.

From this fundraiser, she will be able to get the food processor, vitamins, and healthy supplements she needs to be strong for her chemo. In addition, it will help pay her medical expenses and cost of living for at least a short time. Below is an update that she posted after her surgery. Please consider donating, anything helps, and if you cannot donate, please share this. Thank you.

So it was a bad tumor and bigger than they thought. T3 N1 MO p16 (for the medical people). 2 Surgeries. The second one was almost 10 hours, taking out the right tonsil with the primary tumor and surrounding area. Then they made the neck dissection from ear to down to the clavicula taking off 32 lympfknots. Which 3 already had cancer. So the tumor was spreading. In between, I had to go to the dentist by riding in an ambulance to take some teeth out.

I can not swallow, eat or drink, having a gastric tube for food. This will stay for the next 3 month. On the 5th of Oktober radiochemotherapy will start for around 6 to 7 weeks with daily radioactive therapy, weekly chemotherapy.
In between I will have a Therapist who will teach me how to learn to swallow and how to eat since a lot has been taking off and some nerves are damaged
The pain is beyond measurement. I am taking Morphin and other opiates.
The fight against cancer has started.
Any sewa welcome
Akaaaal!
