Help AJ’s Family Cover Funeral Costs After a Tragic Accident
Donation protected
AJ was a bright, loving 5-year-old boy whose 6th birthday was right around the corner on June 22nd. He was the glue that held his family together—the life of the party, always smiling, always full of energy and love. AJ was kind, respectful, adventurous, and had just begun to discover his passion for sports—especially baseball, where he was quickly becoming a little beast on the field. He was excited to start first grade this fall and couldn’t wait for football season in July.
On June 13, 2025, AJ suffered a tragic accident. He was being treated in the ICU, in critical condition, until his untimely passing, just three (3) days later, on June 16th. His vitals had been unstable, however, the family held out hope until the very end. They believed in AJ’s strength, in the power of prayer, and in miracles. God needed His angel.
AJ was deeply loved. He was the youngest of four (4) siblings and shared a special bond with his sister Aryah—he followed her everywhere since day one. He was always glued to his mother’s hip and loved going on adventures, riding his ATV, and being with his cousins—especially his cousin Aydin. He looked up to his father and older brother, both Navy veterans, and dreamed of one day becoming a police officer. He loved Jesus, loved music—especially playing his drums and singing—and never failed to see the good in everyone around him. He adored his Nana, and her pancakes were his ultimate comfort and joy.
We’re asking for help to support covering funeral costs, medical bills incurred during AJ’s stay in the Intensive Care Unit, and helping the family to financially adjust as they begin a long, dreadful process of grieving.
AJ fought hard. The family fought hard and prayed even harder. If you’re able to donate, please do. If not, please share this link and continue to keep AJ’s family and loved ones in your prayers. They have a long road ahead of them. Every bit of support helps.
The Edison Family sends their love and gratitude.
