Help Ajni Keep Fighting

For those of you that don't know the story.
Ajni was diagnosed with leukemia November 10, 2022. Immediately being transferred and admitted to UW Hospital Oncology floor. Ajni spent weeks there beginning extremely intense chemo and trying to get bleeding and blood counts under control. After Ajni was "stable" enough to go home they released her home. This was followed by many more visits to the hospital and ER for blood and platelets due to uncontrollable bleeding. She was admitted back into the hospital for each of her chemo rounds. At the end of February she took on full body radiation and 5 straight days of intense very high dangerous chemo. After completing this treatment March 2 she had a bone marrow transplant. This kept her in the hospital for 3 weeks. She couldn't stomach anything but smoothies, which Cody brought from Tropical Smoothie Cafe because he said, "I'll do whatever it takes, well worry about money later." The radiation caused her to have mucositis, her throat was swelling shut, and couldnt stomach anything because the chemo made her so sick. Finally after Ajni achieved her milestones and was able to eat again and keep down food, her hardest milestone, she was able to return home.

Since she's been home it's been Dr visits 1-2 times a week. Readmitted for possible graft vs host. Endless supplements. Adjusting their home to be manageable for a cancer pt. After Ajnis transplant her original biopsies all came back negative, but after the most recent biopsy she has a positive marker. The leukemia is not gone.
Devastating, but Ajni doesn't give up.

It's been a constant whirlwind the last year!
Weeks before being diagnosed August 27 Ajni married the most incredible husband anyone could ask for, Cody. This made her a new step mom of 2, Ethan (8) and Maddie (10). 3 days after her wedding the Kia blew up, the next day she lost her best four legged friend, Haley. Needing to get to Madison from Reedsburg for work and school Ajni purchased a car weeks before being diagnosed and without any income for the foreseeable future.

They have been so blessed with all the help they have already received. And have stretched it and made it last so much longer than they thought possible! Using it for monthly bills, car payments, food food and more food, making sure everywhere she went was as clean and comfortable as possible and a few summer activities for the kids.

Unfortunately they haven't been able to touch the medical bills and help with chemo will run out. Today with the way the world is and the rise of prices they struggling. A new Dr wants Ajni to try completely organic, well if you grocery shop you know how much regular groceries cost, organic is about 3 times more expensive. But she has read many testimonials that this diet helped cure many others cancer. Its important shes able to give this a try, after receiving positive markers. Ajnis chemo alone is almost 5k a month, they have some help but it only goes so far. The kids are starting school and sports. Cody's truck is no more so the family is down to one vehicle and the Dr has okayed Ajni to restart her RT program in Madison this fall.

Let's help this struggling family stay on there feet!
