My name is Ajhani Azure, and I’m a 20-year old Jamaican singer, songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist from Brampton Ontario, Canada. 

In November of 2020, I came out to my mother as bisexual. In response, my mother violated my trust and promptly told my father, who disowned me in response.

Since then, my home environment and relationship with my mother has been chaotic and detrimental to my mental health and well being. The multiple verbal altercations as well as situations where I’ve had to diffuse and deflect violence have brought me to a breaking point. If I’m going to be successful and thrive as a self producing artist and an autonomous person as a whole, I need to get myself out of this environment, get my mind out of this chaotic headspace and get my life on track.
