I am so excited to share that I’ve been accepted into Colorado State University Fort Collins to study anthropology! This is a huge step for me, but my journey is a little different than most. Because my family can’t move to a different state—my mother-in-law is medically fragile and needs our care, and my neurodivergent daughter thrives on stability—I’ve chosen to enroll in the university’s online anthropology program. While the online option is more affordable than attending in person, it’s still a significant expense for us.

Balancing my family’s needs with my own dreams hasn’t been easy. My loved ones have already sacrificed so much so I can pursue this opportunity, and I want to make them proud. The funds I raise here will go directly toward my tuition and books, helping me take this next step without putting extra strain on my family.
