What started as a possible infection led the Martin family on a journey they never could have imagined. A.J. Martin was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage 4B. A.J. is 13 years old. He loves sports, his friends, and his family. A.J. had just finished up his football season this past October and was excitedly waiting for the holidays. As the Christmas season approached, A.J. noticed a lump on his neck. Elsa decided it was best to have him seen. He was put on an 10 day antibiotic, thinking it was an infection. After a few days of antibiotics, they realized the lump was not getting better. At this point, A.J. was given an ultrasound and referred to the Hershey oncology department. There he underwent a few tests and a biopsy, and after what felt like an eternity turned into a cancer diagnosis. A.J. started chemo Friday, January 16th.
Please join us in prayer for complete healing over A.J. and peace and wisdom for Cliff, Elsa, Hailey, and Madi. A.J. is so brave and feels the Lord's presence as he tries to look to the future.
With this diagnosis, the family is going to be taking on multiple doctor's visits and chemo appointments. Most visits will be in Hershey. Chemo is the 1st and 15th of every month. This brings on the challenges of being able to work and provide the stability A.J. needs right now. The family is so grateful for everyone's love and support. They appreciate any donation and especially ask you to come alongside them in prayer for healing.
Thank you, Jesus, for A.J. and his beautiful life. We pray for healing and peace over A.J. and his family.
