Help AJ & Lele Escape Harassment and Find Safety
Donation protected
My name is AJ, and I’m a single mother living in Massachusetts with my young autistic daughter, Lele. For the past two years, we have been stalked and harassed by a neighbor. Despite my efforts to get a no harassment order and even after the neighbor was charged with criminal trespassing, the situation has not improved. This ongoing harassment has deeply affected every part of our lives. I’ve missed work, been written up, and am now at risk of losing my job. The stress has also taken a toll on my finances, making it impossible to catch up on bills or afford to move to a safer place.
Lele’s well-being has been especially impacted. Her peaceful routine at home has been shattered, causing her significant emotional distress and dysregulation. As a mother, it’s heartbreaking to see her struggle when all I want is for her to feel safe and secure. We’ve already faced so much. Living in a homeless shelter for a year, hopping from couch to couch, working hard to finally secure a private home that I believed would be safe. Now, we’re facing displacement again, and I’m running out of options.
I’ve reached out to every local resource I could find: women’s support organizations, free legal advice, the court system, police, mutual aid, RAFT, Section 8, and RCAP. Despite all these efforts, we still need help. I’m raising funds to cover moving expenses or legal costs so we can finally find safety and stability. Your support will help us leave this dangerous situation behind and give Lele the chance to thrive in a peaceful home.
