Hi, I'm Courtney Murphy, John Murphy's wife. I am starting this GoFundMe today because we are not financially able to afford our trips to and from Bethesda, Maryland. We have had to reschedule 4 different times, and John, "AJ," is getting weaker and sicker as the days pass. I have reached out for help with our plane tickets, but at the last minute, I was notified that they are unable to help. AJ is scheduled to be in Bethesda, Maryland, to start treatment on November 12, 2024. Without money, we will once again have to cancel.

AJ has had many treatments here in our hometown, but they have all failed. Some worked for a couple of treatments, and others just didn’t work. The one we tried before was actually putting AJ in kidney failure, so we had to stop the treatments. The doctors here have no more options for treatment they can provide for AJ as he has a very rare kidney cancer. AJ has cancer in his kidney, liver, lungs, and lymph nodes. In such a short time without any treatment, it has definitely shown. AJ has always been a healthy, active man. AJ loved his ball, bowling, and any sport for that matter. AJ loved to play any sport, but softball was his favorite. He enjoys being with family and friends, having a good time. Now AJ has no energy, no strength to do any of these things or his daily activities.

AJ needs everyone’s help to make it possible for him to fly to Maryland to get his treatments going. I’m calling out to all his friends and family. Let’s make this happen, Lionel Construction!
