Subject: Help Honor Cathi Berks with a Final Resting Place

Hello Family and Friends,

On June 18th, 2025, we’ll be celebrating the 40th birthday of my nephew, Alfonzo J. Berks (AJ). This year, AJ has one special birthday wish: to give his mother, our beloved sister Catherine “Cathi” Berks (June 13, 1963 – January 1, 2020), the resting place she deserves.

It’s been five years since Cathi’s passing, and her ashes are still with us. AJ is asking for our help to raise $6,000 to lay her to rest at Wyuka Cemetery, next to her mother and AJ’s grandmother, O.C. Berks, in Section 38, Lot 28, Space 9.

Cathi was known for her generous heart and fun-loving spirit. This amount will cover both her burial and a headstone to honor her memory.

With AJ’s blessing, I (Darlene Berks) will be handling the donations in one account. We need to meet our goal by the end of June, as the costs will increase after that time.
