Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Ti-Shira (most know me as Star) and I’m a proud single mother who recently went through a tumultuous divorce from an abusive man. I'm reaching out on behalf of my amazing son, AJ. This fall, AJ will be heading to college in Wisconsin, hundreds of miles away from home, to pursue both his education and his dream of playing college football.

As you can imagine, this is a major milestone not just for him, but for our entire family. AJ has worked incredibly hard to get here. He’s a dedicated student, a gifted athlete, and one of the kindest young men you’ll ever meet. I’ve watched him push through challenges with grit, grace, and determination, all while carrying a heart full of ambition and humility. AJ never gave up even while enduring the changes that come with a parental divorce. He still graduated high school with honors, academic & athletic awards, and led his football team to its first state championship!

But getting him to college, especially out of state, is a financial mountain we’re struggling to climb on our own. As a single mom, I’ve done everything I can to support AJ, but the costs have quickly added up beyond what I can manage alone.

We’re asking for help to cover:

- Dorm essentials and room setup

- Travel and shipping expenses

- Books and school supplies

- Football gear not covered by the school

- Tuition and other educational costs

Every donated dollar will go directly toward getting AJ settled and ready to thrive in this next chapter. He’s not just going to college, he’s breaking generational barriers and showing his peers that dreams are possible with support and determination.
