Help Aiza Start Her New Life
Donation protected
In 2011, I had the life-changing opportunity to go on a mission trip to the Philippines. During this trip, I met a brave little girl named Aiza, whose life was about to change forever. At just five years old, Aiza underwent surgery to repair her cleft lip and cleft palate. I was the last person she saw before the operation and the first one she saw when she woke up, scared and with a bloody mouth. She reached out her arms to me for comfort, and from that moment, our bond was sealed.
A couple of days after the surgery, I will never forget the look of amazement on Aiza's face when she drank water for the first time without it coming out of her nose. Her palate was finally closed. The hug she gave me when she realized her lip was also fixed is something I will cherish forever.
Realizing that Aiza and her family needed more than just the surgery, I decided to cancel my vacation to Palawan and Boracay. Instead, I used the money to build them a new, bigger home and paid for Aiza's schooling beyond the 8th grade, all the way through high school.
Now, Aiza is about to graduate on May 29th. My goal is to raise enough money to give her a strong start in life, including funds in the bank, a visa, and a passport so she can visit America. This support will help set Aiza up for a bright future.
