Aisha Namanda never imagined her life would change this drastically.
After a devastating accident in her home country (Uganda), Aisha suffered severe injuries to her legs especially her Left leg which she nearly lost . What followed was a long and painful journey, made even harder by limited access to proper medical care.
In her fight to recover, Aisha used up all her savings on medical bills—doing everything she could to heal and get back on her feet.
Determined not to give up, she traveled to Calgary hoping for better treatment and a second chance at life. But today, she continues to live with serious mobility challenges and depends on crutches just to move.
Despite everything she has been through, Aisha remains strong.
She dreams of becoming independent again—not just for herself, but for the family back home who rely on her support. Her goal is to start a small Uber-based driving business, allowing her to earn an income despite her condition and rebuild her life with dignity.
To make this possible, we are raising $50,000, which will go toward:
- $25,000–$35,000: A reliable vehicle suitable for ride-sharing work
- $5,000–$8,000: Insurance, registration, and startup costs
- $5,000–$10,000: Ongoing medical care and mobility support
- $5,000–$10,000: Basic living expenses during her transition to stability
This is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a chance to give Aisha her independence back.
Aisha has already given everything she had just to survive. Now she needs a community to help her move forward.
Every donation brings her closer to standing on her own again. Every share spreads hope.
If you can, please support. If not, sharing her story could still change her life.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
