Hello, my name is Ilef, and I currently live in Italy. I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of Aisha Abou Amro and her small family in Gaza. Aisha (21 years old), her husband Mohanad, their two-year-old daughter Joweria, and their unborn baby are living together in a single room of a severely damaged apartment. They do not have a proper bathroom and must carry out every part of daily life in that one small space with very little privacy. Mohanad suffered a leg injury during the conflict and is currently unable to work, leaving the family without a stable source of income. the funds raised will help them purchase food, clean water, essential supplies, and cover Mohanad's medical treatment. Aisha deserves to live a live a life with dignity where she, as a mother can raise her children safely. I will send the donated funds to Aisha, and will make sure to keep record of all the transfers. Life has become incredibly difficult. My daughter and I have both suffered repeated infections because of the lack of hygiene and the conditions we live in. Every day feels like a struggle just to protect my family.

we live in one room with no bathroom, no door to close, and no window to lock. During the winter we hang sheets over the opening to keep out the cold. In the summmer, insects come into the room where we sleep and eat.

Before the war, I dreamed of going to university and building a better future for my family. The conflict shattered those dreams. Now, my only dream is to survive and protect my children.

I feel trapped and mentally exhausted. As a mother, all I want is for my children to grow up somewhere clean and safe, where they don't have to worry about illness, cold, or danger. I want my daughter to have the childhood every child deservs, and I want my baby to be born into a healthier environment. My husband needs medical treatment, but without an income we cannot afford it.
