Getting a small business off the ground is the most challenging step–Aisha Bingham is a Tampa local working hard to serve her family and community by bringing her cheesecake business to life. Still, we need your help so that Mama Joe’s Cheesecake can hit the ground running!

We are a group of student consultants from the USF Muma College of Business. Our mission is to consult for locally-owned businesses in the Tampa area and use our skills to assist local entrepreneurs.

Aisha is a dedicated mother taking a brave next step forward into entrepreneurship by taking her homemade cheesecake business to the next level. She believes in joyful family values, warm conversations, and relationships with her customers that leave everyone with a smile. If you've ever chatted with her or tasted her cooking, you know that she brings those values to the table every day!

Aisha's vision for Mama Joe's Cheesecake was to encapsulate those values alongside her passion for cooking for others. Mama Joe's combines her signature, handcrafted frozen cheesecake with a classic ice cream parlor vibe. She aims to inspire friendly conversation and community.

With the help of this campaign, she’ll be bringing her unique and delicious cheesecakes to the Tampa area with an official launch of Mama Joe's Cheesecake at local outdoor markets in the Tampa Bay area.

Campaign Goals for Mama Joe's Cheesecake

Our campaign for Aisha will use the funds as follows:

First $500 – Perform All Due Diligence & Complete State Paperwork

Second $500 – Obtain Open-Air Market Supplies

Third $500 – Initial inventory, order Ingredients & packaging for a Full Launch at Tampa Area Markets

Anything beyond the initial $1,500 goal will be used to secure better pricing on bulk ingredients and packaging–a tremendous hurdle to cross at the beginning stages of business.
