Afghanistan Student Fighting for Education & Her Mother
Scholarship at risk. Mother needs urgent care.
Hello,
I’m raising funds on behalf of my friend Aisha, who lives in Afghanistan. She has been awarded a 50% scholarship to study Computer Science online at the University of the People, but in order to begin her first semester, she must pay the remaining tuition by September 4th, 2025.
Sadly, Aisha lost her job after the Taliban’s restrictions, leaving her unable to cover these costs. At the same time, her mother is suffering from heart disease and needs hospitalization, which has placed a heavy financial burden on the family.
On top of this, Aisha herself has been struggling with serious health issues. She suffers from severe blood deficiency (anemia) and anxiety, for which she had been receiving treatment for over a year. Unfortunately, after losing her job, she could no longer afford the regular medical visits or medications she needs to stay stable and healthy.
Since banks in Afghanistan aren’t supported on GoFundMe, and transfers like Western Union and MoneyGram have strict monthly limits, I am helping her create this campaign. For transparency, anyone can contact Aisha directly on WhatsApp: [+93 79 [phone redacted]].
Your support will go directly toward:
Covering her first semester tuition at UoPeople
Helping her mother receive urgent medical care
Allowing Aisha to restart her own much-needed treatment
Even the smallest contribution makes a huge difference. Thank you for reading, donating, and sharing Aisha’s story.
