Help Airforce Veteran John Rebuild His Life

My name is John Vollmer and I am an RN and United States Airforce Veteran.

I am asking for financial assistance in the amount of $_25,000__________________ . Funds to be used for a medically required right leg prosthesis, and related medical expenses resulting from a head on collision 17 May 2024

An oncoming driver swerved into my lane, totally destroying my car, and I had to be cut out of the vehicle.

As a result, I suffered multiple head, facial and jaw fractures, arm injuries and leg fractures requiring a lengthy hospital stay. Due to complications in healing of my right leg, it had to be amputated on 16 April 25

The oncoming driver did not have any auto insurance or other assets/coverages so I am left with the financial burden.

I have all but exhausted my personal auto and medical insurance as the cost of care is mounting and applications for government and other assistance are slow to be approved, with no guarantees.

At present, I am unable to practice nursing or other gainful employment. The right leg prosthesis is a key factor in recovery. Unfortunately, without the funds, I cannot start the process for the fitting and building of my device.

So, I need your assistance to, literally, get back on my feet so that I may start to recover my life. One step at a time.
