AIP was started in 2006 in the basement of Angelique and Mantevius Jackson's home with eight students. Today AIP boasts an enrollment of 83 children, a faculty of 9 teachers with over 100 years teaching experience, a staff of 4 and a robust network of community and civic organizations. With a vast waiting list and at the urging of current and former parents to expand the curriculum to include middle grades they can no longer stay in their current location. AIP has found the perfect campus to call home located just 3.5 miles from it's current location. With favor from God and the bank, they have been given an amazing opportunity to own their own property that will allow them to eventually expand its curriculum to the 12th grade. I have seen the far reaching and life changing affects of AIP's methods in my own niece that is currently enrolled there. In just 5 months she is a different person both scholastically and socially. She is now confident in her reading abilities and has gained a desire and love for learning that she didn't have before. She now has friends that she refers to as her sisters and "the boys" and she goes home everyday talking about how much she loves "her school". She will be entering middle school next year and prayerfully that will be at the new home of Angels in Progress Academy. Please help me, help them raise a portion of the proceeds needed to buy this property. They already have a portion of the funds needed, but they are still aways to go. No amount is too small and whatever you contribute, consider it an investment in our young people's future. AIP Academy is a 501 (c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible.
