Last year was going great. I own a food truck called Ainsley's Place, and after three years of hard work, I was finally ready to expand. I found the perfect spot in Bunnell and put all my savings into opening a small restaurant. It felt like everything was falling into place.

But just a week after making that leap, my world turned upside down. I lost my husband, David. The grief and shock made it hard to keep up with everything, and some important steps for the restaurant didn't happen. For the past year, I've been struggling to pay bills and stay focused on my dream of owning and operating my own restaurant. It's been a tough road, but I haven't given up.

Ainsley's Place has always been about serving the community, especially our first responders, from the food truck. Now, I want to create a space where people can come in, sit down, and enjoy a great meal together. There are just a few things I need to get back on my feet and open the doors.
