Help Aimee King rebuild after a tragic house fire

Hi my name is Michael, and im fundraising for Aimee King who just this morning 8/23/2022 woke up to smoke and fire alarms going off in her apartment. Aimee was able to get herself out of her apartment, but unfortunately was not able to get her 3 cats Cristoph, Cooper and Beatrix. Fire rescue was able to locate all 3 cats, but unfortunately after being rushed to northside animal hospital, Beatrix did not make it, and unfortunately Aimee had to put her down this am. Cooper is now being treated at C.A.R.E.S in Clearwater, Fl, and luckily Cristoph was able to get away unharmed, and is currently in animal services possession for safe keeping until Aimee is able to sort this situation out.

January of this year, Aimee had to put her other cat, Gary down because he was very ill, and that was already an unexpected financial blow to her, but now having to put another cat down, and Coopers vet bills already and totaling almost five thousand dollars, she is in a major financial bind to save 1 of her 2 living cats after this fire.

Her apartment and belongings are a total loss. She literally didn’t even have clothes on her back when she ran out of the door, but luckily a neighbor was able to provide her with clothes before emergency services arrived. No wallet, no shoes. Nothing. Im hoping we can all come together to raise some of this money to help lift some of this devastating burden off of her shoulders, and help her to rebuild her life. Aimee is a long time St pete service industry member, and has put a smile on a lot of faces… i will attach photos of vet bills, and of her property damage as soon as we are able to safely enter her apartment, but this is just to help get a head start on getting her cat the care he needs.
