Help Aimee Fight Cancer with Her Family by Her Side

Our dear friend and colleague, Aimee Paragas, is courageously battling stage 3 cervical cancer. As a dedicated nurse, loving mother, and a beacon of strength to everyone around her, Aimee now needs our support more than ever.

Aimee has just recently begun an intense series of chemotherapy and will also undergo radiotherapy as part of her treatment plan. After the loss of her husband three years ago, she worked tirelessly to create a better future for her 4-year old daughter. Through her determination and hard work, Aimee was able to bring her daughter to the UK, where they now live together with Aimee’s supportive partner.

Facing this battle while far from her family in the Philippines has been incredibly difficult. To provide the care and emotional support she needs during this time, we are raising funds to bring her brother to the UK. His presence will ensure Aimee has the additional strength and comfort she needs to navigate this challenging journey.

The funds will cover:

• Travel expenses for Aimee’s brother to the UK

• Accommodation and living expenses while he stays with Aimee

• Any additional support Aimee and her family may need during her treatment

Aimee has always been there for us – as a compassionate nurse, a supportive colleague, and a true friend. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.
