Hello everyone, Thank you for viewing our post. The purpose for this fundraiser is for medical expenses for our dear friend Aimee Collins, also known as Aimee Teller. We are looking to raise 100,000$ for Aimee during this hard time.

Aimee Collins' life changed forever after a sudden illness led to a stroke, coma, and the amputation of her hands and feet. We're raising funds to support her long road to recovery, rehabilitation, and independence.

Just a few short months ago, Aimee Collins was grieving the loss of her beloved father — the person she shared her home and everyday life with. While she was still coping with that heartbreak, she woke up one morning feeling sick with what seemed like a bad chest cold. As her symptoms worsened, Aimee did what any of us would do — she went to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection and sent her home after a few days of antibiotics.

But her condition quickly deteriorated. In unbearable pain, she called for an ambulance — and that’s the last thing she remembers.

Aimee suffered a stroke and fell into a coma. Her doctors were unsure if she would survive. They warned that if she did, she might suffer brain damage, and that her hands and feet — which were being ravaged by sepsis — might need to be amputated.

After several weeks, by what truly feels like a miracle, Aimee woke up. But when she opened her eyes, her world had changed. Her hands and feet had turned black, and not long after, they had to be amputated to save her life.

Despite this unimaginable loss, Aimee’s spirit remains strong. She is determined to fight her way back, to heal, and to rebuild her independence. But the road ahead is long and costly. She will need extensive rehabilitation, prosthetics, home modifications, and ongoing medical care — all of which come with overwhelming expenses.

We are raising $100,000 to help Aimee get the care and support she needs to begin this next chapter. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her medical bills, therapy, equipment, and recovery expenses.

Aimee is one of the kindest, most caring souls you could ever meet. She’s a devoted mother to her two teenage sons and a loving cat mom to her sweet companion, Kathmandu. An artist at heart, Aimee has always expressed herself through drawing and painting — and her love for music has been the heartbeat of her life.

Here on the Jersey Shore, Aimee has been an integral part of our tight-knit community of music lovers, affectionately known as the Jamily. She could always be found at local shows and gatherings, smiling, dancing, and spreading joy to everyone around her. Her warmth and light have touched so many, and she’s been deeply missed by all of us throughout this unimaginable journey.

She would give her last bit of strength to help someone else. Now, it’s our turn to rally around her — to show her that she’s not alone and that her community believes in her strength, her courage, and her future.
