Help Ailsa get to Germany for brain cancer treatment
Donation protected
Ailsa is a devoted mum to two beautiful young girls, Opal and Jessie. Please help her give it everything she can to fight this cancer. I'm Zara, Ailsa's friend since preschool. I live too far away to make dinners or pick up kids, so I'm helping with fundraising.
For the past 2.5 years, Ailsa has been bravely fighting a rare and aggressive brain cancer known as PPTID (Pineal Parenchymal Tumor of Intermediate Differentiation).
Thank you all so much for your incredible generosity and support — it truly means the world to me.
I recently had a consultation with the neurosurgeon and their team, and I’ve learned that the total cost of the procedure is significantly higher than I originally expected.
While I’m doing everything I can to manage the expenses, I now realize I’ll need more help than I anticipated. If you're able to continue supporting — whether by donating or simply sharing this campaign — I would be deeply grateful.
Your kindness and encouragement have already made a huge difference, and I can’t thank you enough for being part of this journey with me.
With heartfelt thanks,
Ailsa Martin
Ailsa has endured multiple rounds of treatment, gruelling therapy, and now heartbreaking recurrence. But she continues to fight with incredible courage—driven by her deep love for her daughters and her determination to be here for them.
After exhausting all treatment options in Australia, Ailsa’s best—and only—chance now lies overseas. She has been offered the opportunity to receive advanced treatment in Germany, a world leader in cancer care and cutting-edge therapies. This could be life-saving, but it comes at a significant financial cost, and time is of the essence.
We are raising funds to help Ailsa access this urgent care, cover travel and medical costs, and give her the best possible chance at a future with Opal, Jessie, and Mick.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help get her to the treatment that could save her life. If you’re unable to give right now, please consider sharing Ailsa’s story with others—your support truly means the world.
Help this courageous mum keep fighting—for herself and for her girls.
Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts.
