Your love and generosity have gotten filmmaker and social justice activist Scott Robbe very far in his fierce battle against a rare and aggressive blood cancer.
Your donations helped him relocate last fall to Boston (from his home in Wisconsin) so he can be near the world-famous Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Your funds helped him rent an apartment and cover food and rent.
Scott has made great progress. Three very exhausting chemo treatments have eradicated two cancer zones in his body. Now he is ready for stem cell transplant to address the Mylodisplastic Anemia.
Here is where your generosity is needed again.
Once the transplant treatment is completed in April, Scott has to move to sterile caretaker housing (his immune system will be very weak). There, his caregiver Benny will be with him 24\7. Extreme Boston costs make these expenses about $1,000 per week, on top of living expenses for Benny and Scott.
This crucial process will last several months and entail daily hospital visits to Dana- Farber. Scott is still fighting for his life. Let him know you have his back!
