Aide Arehart and her family are in need of support. Her son Joshua, who was on his way to the US Airforce, on an ROTC scholarship, was diagnosed with cancer on January 27, 2023, a day before his 20th birthday. Joshua was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a cancer affecting his bones. He had his leg amputated, received treatment, fought hard and recovered! After treatment, not only did he go back to college, finishing with a 3.9 GPA, he also participated in a wide range of activities, including hiking, lifting weights and gave speeches about resiliency. He even participated in a marathon!
Unfortunately, in early January 2024, his cancer returned and spread to his lungs. Joshua has been fighting hard and is determined to recover, with his mom, dad, sister and friends by his side. Aide and her family are taking the time to support him and provide him the best care they can find.
The family is in need of donations to help with the medical expenses associated with the treatment. Any donations are appreciated. The family will be so grateful for any support we can provide.
