Aiden was a former 10th grade student I had, and from the very beginning, his potential was clear. He finished at the top of his class at Cleveland High School for the Digital Arts, showing a remarkable dedication to his studies and a bright future ahead. This past summer, I reached out to Aiden to talk about his plans, and he shared that he was considering just getting a job. I knew he had so much more to offer, so I encouraged him to think about attending a four-year college. With the support of his mother and the guidance counselors at Kent State University, we were able to help him secure enough funding to start his journey at Kent State. Aiden worked hard and finished his semester with an impressive 3.9 GPA, proving that he truly belongs in higher education.

Unfortunately, at the end of the semester, Aiden was left with a tuition balance that neither he nor his family could afford to pay. The payment deadline is quickly approaching, and the financial strain has put his future at risk. Without this payment, Aiden may not be able to continue his studies, and all his hard work could be undone. As his former teacher, I am committed to helping him overcome this obstacle and keep moving forward.

I am a dedicated teacher to all students, but this particular student made me go above and beyond to see him through this process.
