Hi everyone, this is my sweet boy Aiden. I adopted Aiden in January 2025 after he was hit by a car and had to have his leg amputated. Despite everything he went through, he recovered beautifully and has been such a strong, loving little fighter ever since. Last week, everything changed very suddenly. Aiden developed a urinary blockage and had to be rushed to the emergency vet, where they placed a catheter to help him. Less than 24 hours after it was removed, he became blocked again. We were faced with a difficult decision and were advised that he needed PU (perineal urethrostomy) surgery to save his life. We moved forward with the surgery on Thursday, and he is finally home now, recovering. I am so grateful he made it through, but this has all been overwhelming and terrifying. My anxiety has been through the roof, and I’m honestly scared to even leave him alone right now. On top of the emotional stress, the financial burden has been a lot to take on so quickly. The emergency care and surgery, along with prescription food and ongoing care, have created a significant challenge. Aiden has already been through so much in his life, and he continues to fight every single day. If you’re able to help in any way — whether that’s donating or simply sharing — it would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and for keeping Aiden in your thoughts as he heals. — Jamie
