Hi, my name is Aiden.
Last Saturday as I was pulling into my apartment complex, the axle of my car broke and the bolts on the break rotor appeared to have snapped off on my front driver side.
When I left for work that day, all bolts were attached.
By the time I got home, only one was barely attached.
I attempted to get the car towed into the proper parking lot at my complex, but I was told it wouldn't be possible because a tire couldn't be attached to the car in any way.
Due to being unable to get it towed, I had to leave it in the street in front of my complex.
At about 6:45 AM my car ended up being towed by the city.
Due to the cost of what it would be to repair the car (over $1,000) and the cost to get the car taken out of the tow yard (over $300 at this time) and the cost to get a wrecker to tow the car back to my apartment ($100-$200), I have decided that it would be in my best interest to surrender the car and start over.
However, I am still making payments on the car (total payments left are about $650). Because of this, I don't have the title in hand to be able to properly surrender the car. Without the title and left ignored, I could be served by the tow yard for abandonment. I am trying everything to avoid that outcome.
I have tried to acquire personal loans, but due to previous repairs on this car and bad credit I am unable to obtain any.
I am currently having to uber to and from work (about $30 to and from) to at least remain some sort of stability and to be able to keep flowing income.
This is my last ditch effort to try to get some sort of help.
The funds would directly go toward paying the remainder of my car note off to properly surrender the vehicle, as well as a little bit of a cushion to be able to get to and from work.
I would appreciate any and all help.
