Hello, my name is Aiden Rushing. I am a disabled veteran. I use a wheelchair to get around about 85% of the time, especially outside of my home.

A few months ago, my main vehicle, a minivan, broke down. Thankfully, we had a spare small car to get me around until we could get the van fixed. Unfortunately, between December and April, we had 4 separate house emergencies happen that have cost us over $7500 to repair (hot water heater, 2 electrical meter boxes, and several smaller issues).

These issues have left us with zero extra dollars.

While I am grateful I have the vehicle to get around, unfortunately, because of how small it is, I have to disassemble my wheelchair to load it into the back and then reassemble it when I arrive at my destination. While doable, it's challenging and exhausting. And doing it when it's raining is extra problematic!

I am looking to raise $500 to help get the van back to running. If you or anyone you know might be able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
